Jesse Barnes
Jesse Barnes, born in Jefferson City, Missouri, in 1936, has spent a lifetime perfecting his craft, always searching for the scene that will inspire his next painting. A self-taught artist, his professional career has spanned nearly three decades. He has created for Ducks Unlimited, Hallmark Cards, and American Field Magazine. His oil paintings of fine detail and lighting effects of Early American scenes transport the viewer into another place and time. In December of 1983, he released his first limited edition print. Jesse currently resides in Springfield, Missouri.
